More than halfway through this season here in Malta, now the days are just basic days without any "surprising" moments. I feel that I can say now that I'm very close friends with the persons I didn't even know 3 months ago. I have said it before, but this life - living like this - makes you come very close to the other people and you create new bounds and friendships during the summers and winters.

The weather has shown its dark side for the past three days with thunder and plenty of rain. In my opinion that has only been nice. The storm gave away great sunsets that me and Marika have taken advantage of.

The days have been more busy now. I got a course this week with 5 OW students, a lot to handle - the biggest groups are usually 4 people so a group of five or more are rare. Everything went very well, and everyone came back these days to keep diving with me for the first fun dive as well.
It pays back all the effort and time you put on people to teach them something, they get very grateful and happy for the knowledge that you give them. Instructing has been giving back as much I was hoping for it would. Can't wait to teach more and show people the underwater world.

The pipefishes are very unlikely to see in these waters. Where we are diving, we have a lot of sea grass that almost looks like the ones you ran around in on your gameboy to bump into Pokemons. Marika said one day to me that she found a pipefish, I got very exited and happy, but I never thought that I would find one. Then the day after I saw a sea grass out swimming, I checked it out little closer and there it was, the pipefish!!

My brother sent me a picture that he wanted to go diving again! He has truly got the addiction for this crazy activity. One day I was reflecting over the equipment, the cost and how much fun you actually get from that. Buying my own scuba kit, investing my money on myself by educating me in teaching and professionalism in scuba diving. I'm so happy I choose this way. I bought my regulator and BCD second hand in Sweden for around 600 euros. The rest of the equipment is around 200 euros. I couldn't think of what else I could have bought for that money to make me feel this glad everyday? I guess a jet ski could have been fun, for a while... It is of course totally different for each one of us but spend your time on something you love, either a person or an activity, in my case it's both.
